THE REACTION PRODUKTS OF BUTYLACRYLATE AND CHLORAMINE-B
–
SYNTHONS TO PRODUCE MULTIFUNCTIONAL SULFAMIDES AND HETEROCY-
CLES

The reaction of N-monochloramide of benzene monosulphonic acid (chloramine-B) with butyl
ether of acrylic acid was studied. It was determined that the reaction direction depends mainly on
the nature of a solvents and their dielectric constant. Chlorohydrines are formed in aqueous medi-
um, but in the presence of alkanes - β-chloroethers. The reaction of chlorosulfoamidation goes in
aprotic solvent (benzene, toluene) and 1-chlorine-2N-phenylsulfamidebutyl-propionate is formed.
Atom mobility of chlorine in chlorosulfoamidated product in the reaction with nucleophiles was stu-
died. It has been established that derived functionally substituted silfamides are synthons for syn-
thesis of multifunctional sulfamide compounds and heterocycles

Sulfamide compounds have a great applied value and are widely used as medicines, herbici-
des, pesticides, antioxidants, stabilizers, additives to lubricating oils. They are extra strong bacteri-
cides. Therefore, various methods were developed for their synthesis. In addition to rational met-
hods of producing halogensulfamidation of unsaturated compounds has been recently applied by
using as key compounds of N-monochloroamides of sulfo acids. Addition methods of N-haloidea-
mides of sulfo acids to olefins are rather diverse and depend on the nature and structure of unsatura-
ted compounds. However, addition reaction of chloramines to functionally substituted olefins was
less studied. Therefore, study of this reaction is of undeniable interest.
Experimental
IR-spectra of obtained compounds were registered at spectrometer «Nicolet İS-10», NMR

spectra were registered at spectrometer «Tesla-467» with operating frequency of 90 MHz. The pu-
rity of compounds was determined by gas-liquid chromatography at chromatograph LKhD-8MD.
