ABSTRACT
Our country, which has been historically tested, has been attacked by foreign invaders for many years due to its
rich natural resources, location at the junction of major trade routes and many other economic and cultural advantages.
Our homeland, which emerged unscathed from all these struggles thanks to the heroism of the brave sons of the
fatherland, has passed its last test by being condemned to the invasion of the Russian aggressors, who lived in captivity
for 70 years. Our people worked diligently to get rid of this bondage, and by gaining moral strength from patriotic
personalities such as K. R. Uluturk, they were liberated.
During the Soviet era, the concept of "homeland" was characterized, among other things, in terms of communist
ideology. It was evaluated through the prism of the unity of the peoples of the USSR. The national and moral values of
the peoples melted away under the notion of the "Soviet people". The notion of "patriotism" also lost its universal nature
and was analyzed through the prism of communist ideology. In the early years of the Soviet Union, they tried to dress
him in "Soviet patriotism," claiming that "Soviet patriotism" had won the world in the following years. K.R. Uluturk
could not accept all this, he tried to glorify the universal essence of patriotism in his works, and therefore he was
repeatedly persecuted and criticized. These did not break his resolve, the poet was able to glorify the universal essence
of patriotism.
