1. Answer this question before reading the chapter: What does grammar mean to you? Describe in one sentence.
Your answer: In my opinion, grammar is an alternative way to build sentence.
2. Answer this question before reading the chapter: Students often say, “Teacher, we have studied these same grammar lessons year after year, but we still have trouble with them and make mistakes using them.” In your opinion, why do such problems occur?
Your answer: After studying grammar rules, we could understand whole meaning of structures but when using them, there are a lot of mistakes in our sentences. We have some difficulties to choose correct form of rules. To reduce these problems we must do many grammatical exercises and should apply continuously in practice. Gradually we develop the ability to use the right shapes.
