Result and discussion.
As a result of the conducted research, 18 types of nematodes were
recorded among sheep in different regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
During the study, 15 types of nematodes from 18 types were recorded in sheep
(
Trichocephalus ovis, Chabertia ovina, Oesophagostomum columbianum, Oesophagostomum
venulosum, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus vitrinus, Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus
placei, Marshallagia marshali, Nematodirus abnormalis, Nematodirus helvetianus, Nematodirus
oiratianus, Dictyocaulus filarial, Skrjabinema ovis, Skrjabinodera sagia
) are geohelminths, and
only 3 species (
Gongylonema pulchurum, Parabronema skrjabini, Setaria labiato-papillosa
) are
biohelminths.
According to the research results, nematodes live in the host’s digestive system, mainly in
the stomach and small intestines (10), large intestine (4), trachea and bronchi (1), muscle tissue (1),
esophageal epithelium (1), and abdominal cavity (1), found to be parasitic.
The results of research on the level of infection of sheep with helminths - nematodes -
Trichocephalus ovis (11.3%), Chabertia ovina (13.2%), Oesophagostomum columbianum (26.4%),
Oesophagostomum venulosum (17%), Trichostrongylus axei (35.9%), Trichostrongylus vitrinus
(28.3%), Haemonchus contortus (32.1%), Haemonchus placei (17%), Marshallagia marshali
(15.1%), Nematodirus abnormalis (28.3%), Nematodirus helvetianus (24.5%), Nematodirus
oiratianus (20.7%), Dictyocaulus filaria (20.7%), Skrjabinema ovis (5.6%), Gongylonema
pulchrum (5.6%), Parabronema skrjabini (9.4%), Skrjabinodera sagia (7.5%), Setaria labiato-
papillosa (11.3%).
