modern values, the importance of the individual, human nature in opposition to material goods.
Features of leisure practices of modern student youth of Kazakhstan are reflected in the
publication of the same name by Myrzabekova A.A. [13.169-170] Here the author describes the
concept of "leisure" as time free from work and routine household chores and suitable for recovery,
relaxation, hobbies, recreation, cultural and artistic pursuits, and also as an activity that takes up
free time. We also find information about the leisure of young Kazakhstanis from Ozanov A.K. -
"Leisure and study of leisure practices of students" [14.1]. In his opinion, leisure is a relatively
independent sphere of life of young people, in which their needs are determined on the basis of free
choice. The heritage of the people is a great achievement of history. Reliable coverage of it is of
great importance at any stage of social development. The most important task that now faces every
nation is to preserve folk culture and pass it on to the next generation in safety.
The leisure of the Kyrgyz has been developing since time immemorial. The practice in
Kyrgyzstan is to use the yurt as a catering point, and in the village - as a teahouse, primarily for
men's gatherings. On them, young people communicate with each other and exchange information.
In areas rich in livestock, for example, in the Alai Valley, sheep meat is boiled to distribute it at the
end of the meal; in other southern regions, lamb is used to cook pilaf as the main festive dish
[15.152-155]. Young people usually arranged national games during national holidays and feasts.
According to Zainulin R.Sh., the people have many traditional equestrian games, for example,
Ulak-tartysh. The game is played between two teams of riders of 6-10 people each, and the goal of
each is to throw the carcass of the goat "ulak" into the opponent's goal. This is not easy to do, and
the force required to break through the defense and throw a 20-kilogram carcass into the goal is
intimidating. Oodarish is another horseback wrestling - an old and very popular type of competition.
The rider must pull, knock down his opponent from the horse. The game is played on a flat, circular
area with a diameter of 40 meters. Kyzkuumai - chasing a girl - an equestrian game in which a girl
and a horseman participate. In the past, kyzkuumai was part of the wedding ceremony. A girl and a
horseman are called to the start. The girl has an advantage of 20 meters. On a signal, she gallops to
the finish line, and the horseman starts chasing her. If at a distance (about 100 meters) the young
man overtook the girl and kissed her, then after turning at the finish line they jump side by side [16.

]. Also, Zainulina R. Sh. notes that those who play such games have good physical qualities
and the ability to show tolerance. Leisure is traditionally one of the most important areas of youth
life. Introducing young people to customs and traditions in ethnography is also considered one of
the values of the mentality. In this regard, a teacher of the humanities of the Kyrgyz National
University named after. J. Balasagina Salpieva E.B. in his article "The role of the mentality of the
Kyrgyz in the education of youth" [17.189-192] notes the relevance of national traditions and
customs and their importance in the education of young people. Sociocultural space, the
information field as a whole, in which the mentality of modern youth is formed.
Biyaliev A.Sh. describes the importance of cultural and leisure activities in the education
system of Kyrgyzstan and its impact on the life and self-development of a student in a higher
educational institution. Shows in tables a list of events held for Kyrgyz youth [18.18].
Didactic
principles, a holistic pedagogical process, a fundamental idea that awakens in young people the
desire to know life, the desire for cohesion, attentiveness to a friend, respect, communication, etc.,
are embedded in every leisure of the nation.
Leisure activities, as in other countries, in Tajikistan also began to develop especially
actively in the XX-XXI centuries. One of the relevant leisure practices of young people at that time
was interethnic communication. In the studies of Kusarbaev R.I. [19.209] a theoretical model of the
level-by-level analysis of the dynamics of the development of the culture of interethnic interaction
of students has been developed.
