As for the originality of the magazine, since it is published less frequently than a newspaper, 
it does not take operative responsibility, but has the ability to describe events in detail, analyze 
them, think and draw conclusions. Therefore, the magazine is considered a type of information 
support for journalism; it covers broad layers of socio-political, economic, production, cultural-
educational, and other spheres.
The magazine provides broad and rich spiritual nourishment to mankind, deepens the 
balance of society and social consciousness, serves to improve man's intellect and knowledge, 
improve his worldview and intellectual level. Through the magazine, people deeply understand the 
important issues of social life, enjoy the products of science and education, literature and art, 
explore the world around them, strengthen their life experience, and master their profession. [4, 67]. 
The magazine is a product of human civilization and an important factor in its formation. 
Also social strata, groups, parties create their socio-political, scientific-theoretical, legal, aesthetic 
and other points of view with the help of the magazine, bring them to a mass audience, attack the 
ideas and ideologies of some opposition parties or groups. Considering these aspects, the journal 
can serve as an instrument of ideological struggle to a certain extent. However, many journals 
related to science, technology, literature, and the arts always serve humanitarian purposes and have 
a public character. 
The history of the emergence of magazines is closely connected with the history of the 
development of human society, the emergence of civilization and other socio-political needs. At a 
certain period of human history, a need arose for journalism that reflected the social situation more 
broadly and deeply than newspapers. The basis for this was the need for people to learn more about 
the world and to have more detailed information about all aspects of public life. Also some social 
groups and social strata felt the need for a wider and deeper communication of their views in the 
socio-political, scientific-theoretical and other areas. The development of science and technology, 
the widest spread of literature and art were one of the reasons for the appearance of magazines. That 
is why the first journals that appeared were related to science, literature and art. In the meantime, 
let's dwell a little on the history of the publication of the magazine as one of the mass media.
