Disadvantages of cardboard furniture:
• short-lived, so they need to be changed more often.
• inability to use in wet places.
Recently, many designers have become interested in creating masterpieces of recycled
furniture, which is cardboard. It is a flexible and malleable material that can take any shape.
Properly selected material and technology make it possible to make various functional pieces of
furniture from cardboard:
for home common use: bed, bookshelves and niches, armchair, sofa, coffee table, shoe rack;
rooms for children: children's chest of drawers, children's bed, children's table, furniture toy;
Office space: designer computer desk, office counter, shelving;
for a country cottage: a shoe rack, armchairs, sun beds, a fake fireplace.
Cardboard items will perfectly fit into a rustic, Scandinavian, eco-friendly interior. There is
always a place for leisure furniture in a spacious living room, on a loggia, a closed terrace of a
country house. Hanging hammocks made of paper tubes and mobile chairs can be taken with you on
a picnic or fishing.
Designer tables and chairs made of cardboard are increasingly found in cafes and restaurants.
Cheap beautiful items can last for several months without losing their original appearance. They can
be quickly and easily replaced with similar ones without violating the general style of the
institution.
