Three Dimension Interaction Between Helix Staırcases And Structure
It is a hard work that to make the helix staircases more detailed by finite elements programs which are used nowadays. For this reason, the system is being analyzed by ignoring the helix staircases. However indeed, it is a probable circumstance that helix staircases will bring serious load and it is believed that these effects will significantly influence the building behaviours.
In multi-floor buildings, cross-section effects of staircases change in respect of the border condition that staircases support to the building, geometry and property of material, number of floor of the building, rate of rigidity of the building and staircases and the floors that they belong to. In general, cross-section effects of first and final floor are different from the cross-section effects of middle floors. The effects of staircases dependent on the position to the floors are considered in the formulation derived for approximate hand calculation. But generally, design is being made by considering the moments and shearing forces, stretching in the plane of horizontal and inclined components of staircases is being ignored. Being not zero of axial strength of components of staircases in reality, it may take the pull and pressure values according to the border conditions. Consequently, other cross-section effects depend on many parameters and they come out during the staircases and buildings are working interaction.
In this situation, analyzing the staircases with the building in a three dimension can be thought as the most realest approach. It is possible to realize such an analysis by using finite-element methods.
