is yellowish solid while the second one is slightly pink solid.
The petrodispersing and petrocollecting capabilities of surfactants were 
investigated using a well-known technique described in [3]. 40 ml of water 
are placed in a Petri dish. 1 ml of crude oil (in this case, Pirallahi) is spread 
over the water (thickness of the film ~ 0.17 mm). Then, 0.02 g of the 
surfactant (or its 5 wt%. solution) is added to the film from the sidewards. The 
surface area of the initial oil film and current areas of the formed oil slicks are 
measured at certain time intervals. The coefficient Kd denotes the degree of 
surface cleaning (in %) and K is the coefficient of collecting.

According to Table 1, the first salt shows the maximum petrodispersing 
property in the distilled water treated with 5 wt% ethanolic solutions while its 
maximum petrocollecting property is obtained in seawater treated with 5 wt% 
ethanolic solutions. On the other hand, the petrodispersing factor of the 
second salt is seen in distilled water treated with 5 wt% aqueous solutions. 
However, the maximum petrocollecting property is examined in distilled 
water treated with 5 wt% ethanolic solutions.
