Ophiuchus

The knowledge we have of Ophiuchus is legendary; yet his name was hidden in obscurity. Strangely, it was only since 1998 this identity came to be known again. From January 2011 he took his official place to be recognized as the Thirteenth sign in the Zodiac.

Asclepius, Imhotep, Ophiuchus, Joseph the son of Jacob and finally Balthazar of Babylon; all have a similar historical outline, personalities and were the archetype of the Healer and Alchemist. Being of high intelligence, wide field of interest, non-royal but became major person in advising the ruler of his day and all lived to more than 100 years of age.
Imhotep (c. 2630-c.2611 BC) Chancellor of the King of Egypt, Doctor, First in line after the King of Upper Egypt, Administrator of the Great Palace, Hereditary nobleman, High Priest of Heliopolis, Builder, Chief Carpenter, Chief Sculptor, and Maker of Vases in Chief. In priestly wisdom, in magic, in the formulation of wise proverbs; in medicine and architecture, this remarkable figure of Djoser’s reign left so notable a reputation that his name is not forgotten to this day – regardless of many attempts to remove his memories.
Although there were occupants of the land we know today as Greece dating as far as 3,500BC there is very little known about them. The very ancient Greek civilization appears to be dating from about 1600BC. The Egyptian civilization which date back to 5500BC and the early Dynasty period that was already existing 3500BC and written records found that dates back to 3,400BC. Considering this then and the fact that Imhotep lived about 2600BC we can assume that he was the earliest person in reference. Further we do know that much of the Greek hermitic mythology were based on earlier stories; including that which came from the early Hittites and even back to first Sumerian recordings.
Thus, Imhotep was the original story; while the fable of Asclepius was based on that of Imhotep and when Zeus raised Asclepius to the heavens; he actually raised Imhotep. Imhotep, who comes in peace, became Ophiuchus the Serpent Bearer. You should remember this one line. In a few weeks when I start with ‘Prophesies of our Future’, we are going to meet with this transformation again.
Looking back at the history, we find very little about Imhotep in Egyptian references; but we find a lot written about him from other sources like the Greek, Hittites, Assyrian and even Babylonians. It does seems like some people tried to wipe his honour from history. Then interesting we also find the same with Joseph, the son of Jacob (Even in Biblical scriptures) and very much the same with regards to Balthazar the Biblical Daniel in Babylon. The history and lives of this three people are so close that many scholars believe they are the same person; adopted to reflect local folklore.
However, there are in all three cases a number of very highly regarded written records that were used as references in later writings of philosophers. It is my belief that we should adopt the Zodiac to fit with the actual constellations in our Universe. Details that are more specific will be explained in a coming book;

“Zodiac Influences and Programming”.
Ptolemy was a Greek astronomer who lived in Alexandria, Egypt. Around 147AD he compiled the ‘Almagest’ from ancient Egyptian, Babylonian and Greek knowledge. Today this work is still the most reliable about the Babylonian periods. In particular, he used references from Hipparchus 300 years earlier. Ptolemy at that time gave the names and drawings of 48 constellations; of which 13 were located on the Ecliptic plane of Earth. Today we have 88 constellations in the sky named – but only 13 of these are on the ecliptic plane.
The sun follows an ecliptic line through the sky, passing through the signs of the Zodiac. The thirteen constellations on the ecliptic plane are; Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpios, Sagittarius, Capricorns, Aquarius, Pisces; these 12 are the common Zodiac – and Ophiuchus which is not reflected in the general European Zodiac. Traditionally the new Zodiac year starts on 22 March with the first Zodiac sign of Aries. However, the Babylonians set up this time scale about 420 BCE (2,450) years ago. In the meantime, the Precession of the Equinoxes (1 degree in 71.6 years) has accumulated to about 33 years. So in fact the first day of the original Aries is now 33 days after the Spring Equinox – about 24 April. In all, the Zodiac has moved one period backwards.
Revelation (Bible) 22:1-3:

He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him.https://photos.smugmug.com/landscapes/i-gpszkz3/0/xl/cumberland%20river%20milkyway%203%20(1%20of%201)-xl.jpg

The river at the feet of Ophichus is the Milky Way; the middle of its street is the centre of the Galaxy – at Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus is in the middle with 12 other Zodiac this side and that side of the Milky Way; EACH yielding its fruits every month; the leaves of the tree healing. Ophiuchus/Imhotep was the origin of Medicine!

Ophiuchus says “I create, I heal”

Everything is WRONG!

Until Ophiuchus came over the horizon, I had the Western Zodiac discarded. It just did not fit me or any person I know. On the other hand, when I came to learn about the correct positions and dates, the picture changed dramatically.

To be correct, the first Zodiac in 2015 was Pisces. “This does not matter” say so many astrologists; I will differ with reason. Being of the wrong Zodiac makes you understand yourself wrong, that alone cause stress. Being of the wrong Zodiac also influences your Astral Life and your readings of the planets are wrong. It is also wrong because nothing can really fit in prophesy, health or understanding.
Imhotep often used snakes and their poison in his healing; his symbol became the rod with a single snake around it. Moses used the same centuries later when the Israelites were in the desert. The current accepted symbol for medicine, which is a staff with two snakes and wings, are not the correct symbol of Imhotep or Asclepius. That is the Caduceus, Divine rod of Hermes (Planet Mercury), given to him by his brother Apollo. The Caduceus is rather the symbol of commerce, death and destruction … well maybe it is the right symbol for modern Pharmaceuticals!
If one accepts the Zodiac as any item of value, – be it in Astronomy and/or Astrology – then one HAS to accept the correct place of Ophiuchus. One last coincidence; Joseph, son of Jacob is in much of the later scriptures not mentioned by his name; rather his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh took his place. Ophiuchus (Imhotep) is a double Zodiac constellation; that of Ophiuchus the Holder and Serpent Arius the snake.

I will publish my book “Ophiuchus – The Alchemist and Healer”; late 2016 or beginning 2017
