There is a growing interest in language learning in our country. An example of this is the privileges and opportunities provided by the Decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated May 19, 2021 "On measures to effectively organize the promotion of foreign language learning."
At the same time, the demand for English is evident in all respects. In particular, in order for our country to become one of the developed countries, it is necessary to have young people who know many languages, breathe, are inquisitive and creative.
To do this, we need to completely change our approach to language teaching and learning. We need to use modern technologies and modern methods effectively. We need to make sure that the material we use in the course is useful and effective. We need to assess the level of knowledge of students in a timely manner.
In the teaching process, teachers need to keep track of what materials students have mastered when they are used.
It is advisable to determine the best direction of teaching and to teach in this way.
The aim of the study was to identify the most effective way to teach English effectively. Also identify the importance of using newspaper articles in education.
The object of research is the use of newspaper articles in the classroom and additional materials in the research process.
Research topic: Using newspaper articles to teach English to college students.
Research materials: Various articles, works, scientific works, dissertations, practical researches, theoretical knowledge, small researches, opinions and views of foreign and domestic scholars on the research topic. Like my own practical observations.
