Dalam proses ekstraksi lycopene dari buah tomat ada pengaruh dari perbandingan
antara feed dengan solven, serta kenaikan suhu terhadap lycopene yang terekstrak
sehingga operasi terbaik adalah operasi pada kondisi maksimum pada
perbandingan feed dan solven 1:4 pada suhu operasi 70˚C dan selama 90 menit.
Pada kondisi ini lycopene yang terekstrak sebesar 5,14 mg/100gram jus buah
tomat.
