Activity 6b Play “What date is it today?”
Objective: to reinforce asking and answering questions about dates
This is a usual Chain Drill activity to practise the question and answer in Activity 6a.
Optional Activity 6c Work in pairs. Point, ask and answer.
Objective: to reinforce asking and answering questions about dates
Ask the pupils to look at their calendars again. Explain that Pupil A shows a date on the calendar, for example, 30 in November, and asks the question. Pupil B says the date accordingly as shown in the example. Then they take turns.
Homework
Explain that the pupils must write the numbers as words at first and then their ordinals as shown in the example. Also explain that those who did not finish Activity 4 must complete it.
