My city is Qibray
Q ibray district is a district in Tashkent region. It was established on December 1, 1933. On December 24, 1962, it was merged with Kalinin (now Zangiota) district. Reorganized on December 31, 1964. Orzhonikidze district in 1933-91. It borders the city of Tashkent to the southwest, Upper Chirchik to the south, Bostanliq to the east, Tashkent districts to the west, and the Republic of Kazakhstan to the north. The area is 0.56 thousand km2. The population is 159.6 thousand people (2004). The district has 2 towns (Qibray, Salor), 11 rural communities (Baitkurgan, Yonariq, May, Matqobulov, Aqqavoq, Tuzel, Chinabad, Yangiabad, Onqurgon, Kyziltu, Kipchak). The center of the district is the town of Kibrai.
N ature. The district is located in the north and northeast of the region, in the Chirchik river valley. The relief consists of hills and mountains in the northeastern part. The surface rises towards the northeast. The average height is 300-400 m. The Chirchik river flows from the south, the Bozsuv, Zakh and Khanim canals from the north, and the Katta Karasuv canal from the middle. Current and ancient tributaries of Chirchik river, Bozsuv, Zakharik canals formed ravines. The depth of some ravines (in Bozsuv) reaches several tens of meters. The soil is mainly gray soil. The climate is continental. The average temperature in July is 27-29°C, January -2°C. The highest temperature in summer reaches 41-42°, the lowest temperature in January is -29°. Vegetation period is 210-220 days. Annual precipitation is 300-400 mm. Among the wild plants there are turangil, poplar, linden, hawthorn, willow, rush, reed, yantok and others. In the spring, saffron, sedum, tulips and tulips grow. Among wild animals, there are hares, water rats, mice, geese, ducks, pheasants, grebes, sophitos, muskrats, and muskrats.
The population is mostly Uzbeks; Kazakh, Russian, Tajik, Tatar and others also live there. The average population density is 285 people per 1 km² (2004). The population of the city is 38,700 people, the population of the village is 120,900 people.
E conomy. Industrial products are produced in the district, agricultural products are grown. 17 industrial enterprises, Tashkent thermal power center, cascade of hydroelectric power stations, fruit and vegetable canning and non-alcoholic beverage factories, brick factory, "Tashkent" poultry farm, industrial production association for egg production, etc.; There are 10 companies, 237 farmers, including 64 farms, "Limonzor" farm and other farms. The total cultivated area is 13,700 ha, including 4,900 ha of grain, 2483 ha of potatoes and vegetables, and 5,200 ha of fodder crops. The garden and vineyards are 3.8 thousand ha, the greenhouse is 3 ha. More than 24,900 cattle (including about 11,000 cows), about 16,000 sheep and goats, and 1,371,400 poultry are raised in the district (2004). The district supplies agricultural and livestock products to Tashkent. 13 scientific research 48 general education schools (27.4 thousand students) operate in the district. "Plemelita" scientific production association, Tashkent Agrarian University, 4 music schools, 43 libraries, 9 club facilities (including 4 culture houses, 2 culture palaces), stadium, swimming pool, 5 health care facilities, 2 hospitals, 13 village doctors' offices point, 9 ambulatory clinics, 9 rural treatment centers, 13 paramedic points provide services to the population. There are children's sanatoriums, "Boston", "Botanika", "Umid Gulshan", "8 Mart", "Turon", "Navbahor", "Qibray" sanatoriums, "Energetik" seasonal rest house and others. The district is connected with the city of Tashkent by bus and electrified railway transport.
