Topic: Places 1.Are parks important for a city? Yes, parks are important for cities. In the evening, on weekends, the number of residents who come to the park increases even more. People gather with their family members and relatives in the recreation areas of the park and organize picnics. This forms a new culture of recreation in our citizens.
2. Are there many public parks or gardens in your country? In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the head of state Mr. Ilham Aliyev, new greenery, forest massifs, recreation parks and gardens are being built in all corners of our country, especially in our capital city of Baku, and the existing green areas are being further expanded. This once again proves that Azerbaijan is a country of parks. There are already about 300 parks, gardens and recreational spaces in the city of Baku, and the process of building new parks and major repair and reconstruction of existing ones continues.
One of the parks that gives special beauty to our capital is the culture and recreation park named after "Nizami Ganjavi". In the park with an area of 11.2 hectares, all conditions have been created for the efficient recreation of the residents of the capital and the guests of our city. The park was opened on December 30, 2021.
3. What do you like to do when visiting a park? I like to walk in the fresh air in the park, play with children and have fun. I also like to have a picnic with my friends in the park. It is better to walk in the park and have a picnic in the summer months. Most of us know the Botanic Garden, which is considered one of the green cultural centers of Baku, as the "Botanical Garden". It is very nice to have a picnic in this garden which is rich with countless specimens of flora.
4. Would you prefer to play in a personal garden or public garden? I prefer to play and have fun in the public garden. Because there are many people in those areas. I love spending time with people, socializing. I am happy to see people of different age groups in the parks. I spend my day productively by playing with children, talking with my peers, and receiving advice from elders.
