Of all the mentioned types of weather, I’d have to say that snowy weather is my favorite type of
weather. I have this opinion for two reasons that involve outside activities in the snow. First, after it
has snowed, I can go outside and make a snowman! I love using old scarves, and other old items to
build with. One year, I made snowman using broom sticks, an old electric cable, and soda bottle
tops. It was definitely a very strange looking man, but it was still a lot of fun to construct it outside in
the snow. Next, I love to snowboard! There is something exhilarating about rushing down a steep
slope with the cold wind and warm sun in my face. I’ve been snowboarding since I was old enough
to walk, so as soon as that first snow happens, I’m ready and waiting for the ski resorts to open!
Because I am able to do two of my favorite outdoor activities during this type of weather, I really
adore the snow.

to do, what would you do in that month?
A. Sample Answer
If I had a whole entire month of leisure time, I’d do two things that I just never have the time to
do in my real life. First, I’d travel back to the USA and visit all of my family. I haven’t seen most of
them in three years! So, it would be great to see how much the children have grown, and to catch up
with the life happenings of those loved ones. It would take me three weeks to travel all over the USA
to where my family is dispersed about. Then, I’d use my last week of free time to go on a vacation to
somewhere tropical. I love hot weather, so I’d probably wind up in Thailand. A week isn’t enough
time to see everything over there, but at least it’s a start. The first thing I’d do there is to enjoy the
food and get a ride on an elephant. I’d close out my Thai trip by visiting some of the Buddhist
temples that are well-known in those parts of the world. I just can’t fathom having a whole month of
leisure time, but if I did, I’d go visit my family whom I haven’t seen in what seems like forever, and
I’d travel a bit in Thailand.
