All of my best friends share two specific qualities, so those must be the qualities I look for in a
best friend. One quality I think is important is athleticism. I am a very active individual.
I love
sports, hiking, and simply being outside. I would want my best friend to
engage in those activities
with me. It would be hard to connect with someone who had no interest doing the things I spend a
majority of my free time doing. To continue, I want my best friend to be smart. I like talk about global
issues; they’re something I’m passionate about. I want my best friend to be able to talk to me about
those things and have the conversation actually be intellectually stimulating. Also, I want to be able
to learn new things from my friends. It would be boring to have a friend who couldn’t intellectually
challenge me. Thus, I think it is important for my best friends to be athletic and intelligent.
