I often have strange dreams, but the most peculiar one that I’ve had occurred just last night. My
mom always warned me about eating sweets before going to bed, and I’ve always abided by these
rules. However, last night, I had not just a small bowl of ice cream, but a huge bowl of ice cream.
This induced a strange dream, just like my mother said it would. My dream went something like this.
I was walking along the street, when all of a sudden a flock of flying monkeys was seen in the sky. I
quickly ran into a nearby store where to my surprise, there was a herd of hopping kangaroos trying to
escape! If this wasn’t already the strangest dream I had ever had, it got even more bizarre. One of the
kangaroos scooped me up and put me into their pouch. We hopped along the streets until we met a
swarm of slithering snakes who then took me as their prisoner. I thought one of them was going to eat
me, but they just wanted to lift me up into the trees and let me swing on them! As I was swinging from
one
snake to the next,
like Tarzan,
the snakes disappeared, and I started falling. Then I woke up. I
don’t think I will ever eat ice cream at night before bed again!
