The National Society has an ongoing partnership with UNDP to engage in the implementation 
of community-based climate change adaptation activities in the Kurunegala district of Sri 
Lanka as a part of a Climate Resilient Integrated Water Management Project, with funding 
support from UNDP.
 
•
Following the development of a Disaster Response Mobile application by Sri Lanka Red Cross, 
in 2022, pilot study was conducted which gathered data from 677 households, leading to the 
application’s launch on Google Appstore.
