5 points - there are shortcomings in the student's response and he/she can’t fully cover the topic.
4 points - the student's response is partially correct, but makes some mistakes when explaining the topic.
3 points - the student is aware of the topic, but is unable to substantiate his/her opinion.
1-2 points - the student has partial knowledge of the topic.


Midterm 1:
Value: 10 % of overall score
Due Date: See Course Schedule
Type: The exam will be in a written form and students’ will be responsible to answer open ended questions about the target topics
Description: This exam will be held online. Due to the fact that students will answer open ended questions it will avoid students from being involved in cheating. The exam questions will be based on the materials students will cover during the semester.


Participation (Discussion Forums for online classes)
Value: 20 points
Due Date: See Course Schedule
Type: All the discussions during the sessions will be based on the topics in the syllabus and students are going to make a debate on some real life situations
Description: Students are expected to comprehend the topic and being able to reflect learned knowledge on their individual analyzing skills.


Final Exam/Assessment
Value: 50% of final grade Date: See Course Schedule
Length: ___ hours
Type: The type of this exam will be decided later due to the Covid-19 problems.
Description: This final assessment will be in a written form and students are going to show their competences in analyzing some questions related to real life contexts.


Midterm Scheduling
Midterm exams will be held when students will finish the half of the program. Due to some political and pandemic problems in a country this date can’t be scheduled beforehand. However, students will be informed about their exams at least 2 weeks before exam.

Attendance Expectations  

Attendance is mandatory. Your total score will depend on in-class activities. In addition, I’ll explain assignments in class, hand out related materials, and discuss and clarify assigned readings. If you miss a class, you’re still responsible for any assignments and materials presented in class.

Individual work
For individual work the students are obliged to give one demo lesson and till the end of this semester submit it to the instructor.
TEACHING AND LEARNING APPROACHES
CLT, TBLT and Project-Based approaches are to be used in the course delivery.
