On March 6, 1955, at ten minutes to eleven o'clock at night, Muhammad Amin, who was lying in the clinic of the medical faculty of Ankara University , who was suffering from diabetes, shouted three times "Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan!" saying, he reached eternity. On March 7 at 10:45 p.m., Ankara radio broadcasted the news of the death of the former chairman of the Azerbaijan National Council, Mohammad Amin Rasulzade, to the whole world.
On March 8, friends of Muhammad Amin Rasulzade stood in a guard of honor at Haji Bayram Mosque in Ankara. Ankara city governor Kemal Aygün also came to offer his condolences. In addition, in front of the funeral there were representatives of "Azerbaijan Culture Association", "Help Association", "National Library", "Turkish Librarians Association", "Karsli High Students Aid Association", "Journalists Society", representatives of Idyll-Ural and Crimean Turks, Poles. During the funeral, Abdulwahab Yurdsevar , Ahmed Jafaroglu , Mirza Bala Mammadzadeh , Hamdulla Subhi Tanriverin , Sadri Maqsudi, Jafar Seyidahmed Krimar ,Prominent persons such as Zaki Walidi Togan also spoke. Muhammad Amin Rasulzadeh was buried in Asri cemetery in Ankara .
Many obituaries were published in Turkey, Iran and Western European countries regarding his death. Examples of these are the newspapers "Dunya", "Birlik" published in Turkey, "Aram", "Irani-Nov" published in Iran, radio "Azadlig" published in Germany. The most interesting of them is the obituary printed by SHTaghizade. Originally from Ordubad, he was born in Tabriz , considered to be one of the main leaders of the Iranian mashruta revolution together with Mohammad Amin Rasulzadeh, who later became a supporter of the Pahlavi method of government and thus became a stranger to his own people, the most prominent statesman, diplomat and scientist of Iran.
