Abstract:
In an era marked by the pressing need for sustainability, the concept of sustainable globalization has emerged
as a critical area of focus for higher education institutions worldwide. As the world grapples with the adverse consequenc-
es of unsustainable economic practices and environmental degradation, nurturing a green economy in higher education
has become imperative. This paper presents a comprehensive exploration of the ways in which institutions of higher
learning can contribute to sustainable globalization by fostering a green economy. Drawing on an extensive review of
literature, this research paper investigates the current state of sustainable practices within higher education institutions
and identifies key challenges and opportunities. Through the examination of innovative case studies and best practices,
the paper reveals successful strategies and initiatives implemented by leading universities to promote sustainable devel-
opment and a greener economy. Moreover, the paper delves into the transformative potential of integrating sustainability
into the core curriculum of higher education, empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to
shape a sustainable future. By analyzing the impact of sustainability-focused education on students’ attitudes and behav-
iors, the study elucidates the pivotal role of universities in nurturing a new generation of environmentally conscious global
citizens. Furthermore, the paper assesses the role of technology and research in propelling the green economy in higher
education. It highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement with industry partners to drive
sustainable innovations and solutions. The study also explores the challenges faced by universities in achieving sus-
tainability goals, such as resource constraints and resistance to change, proposing viable strategies to overcome these
hurdles. In conclusion, this research paper underlines the significance of sustainable globalization in higher education
and offers a roadmap for institutions to embrace a greener economy. By cultivating a culture of sustainability, universities
can contribute to shaping a more equitable, resilient, and environmentally responsible global community. Embracing sus-
tainable practices not only aligns higher education with the broader global objectives but also equips future leaders with
the vision and skills to address the complex challenges of our time.

Barqarorlik zarurati bilan ajralib turadigan davrda barqaror globallashuv kontsepsiyasi butun dunyo bo'ylab
oliy ta'lim muassasalari uchun muhim yo'nalish sifatida paydo bo'ldi. Dunyo barqaror bo'lmagan iqtisodiy amaliyotlar va
atrof-muhit degradatsiyasining salbiy oqibatlari bilan kurashar ekan, oliy ta'limda yashil iqtisodiyotni rivojlantirish zaruratga
aylandi. Ushbu maqola oliy ta'lim muassasalari yashil iqtisodiyotni qo'llab-quvvatlash orqali barqaror globallashuvga hissa
qo'shish usullarini har tomonlama o'rganishni taqdim etadi. Adabiyotlarni keng ko'lamli ko'rib chiqishga asoslanib, ushbu
tadqiqot ishi oliy ta'lim muassasalaridagi barqaror amaliyotning hozirgi holatini o'rganadi va asosiy muammolar va imkoni-
yatlarni aniqlaydi. Maqolada innovatsion amaliy tadqiqotlar va ilg‘or tajribalarni o‘rganish orqali barqaror rivojlanish va yashil
iqtisodiyotni rivojlantirish uchun yetakchi universitetlar tomonidan amalga oshirilayotgan muvaffaqiyatli strategiyalar va
tashabbuslar ochib berilgan. Bundan tashqari, maqola oliy ta'limning asosiy o'quv dasturiga barqarorlikni integratsiyalash-
ning transformatsion salohiyatini o'rganadi, talabalarga barqaror kelajakni shakllantirish uchun zarur bo'lgan bilim, ko'nikma
va qadriyatlarni beradi. Barqarorlikka yo'naltirilgan ta'limning talabalarning munosabati va xulq-atvoriga ta'sirini tahlil qilib,
tadqiqot ekologik jihatdan ongli global fuqarolarning yangi avlodini tarbiyalashda universitetlarning muhim rolini ochib bera-
di. Bundan tashqari, maqola oliy ta'limda yashil iqtisodiyotni rivojlantirishda texnologiya va tadqiqotlarning rolini baholaydi.
U barqaror innovatsiyalar va yechimlarni ishlab chiqish uchun soha hamkorlari bilan fanlararo hamkorlik va hamkorlikning
muhimligini ta'kidlaydi. Tadqiqot shuningdek, resurs cheklovlari va o'zgarishlarga qarshilik kabi barqarorlik maqsadlariga er-
ishishda universitetlar duch keladigan muammolarni o'rganadi, bu to'siqlarni engib o'tish uchun hayotiy strategiyalarni taklif
qiladi. Xulosa qilib aytadigan bo'lsak, ushbu tadqiqot hujjati oliy ta'limda barqaror globallashuvning ahamiyatini ta'kidlaydi
va institutlar uchun yashil iqtisodiyotni qamrab olish uchun yo'l xaritasini taklif qiladi. Barqarorlik madaniyatini tarbiyalash
orqali universitetlar yanada adolatli, bardoshli va ekologik mas'uliyatli global hamjamiyatni shakllantirishga hissa qo'shishi
mumkin. Barqaror amaliyotlarni qo‘llash nafaqat oliy ta’limni kengroq global maqsadlar bilan uyg‘unlashtiradi, balki kelajak
rahbarlarini zamonamizning murakkab muammolarini hal qilish uchun qarash va ko‘nikmalar bilan jihozlaydi.

Аннотация:
В эпоху, отмеченную острой потребностью в устойчивости, концепция устойчивой глобализации стала
критически важной областью внимания для высших учебных заведений во всем мире. Поскольку мир борется
с неблагоприятными последствиями неустойчивой экономической практики и деградации окружающей среды,
развитие “зеленой” экономики в высшем образовании стало обязательным. В данной статье представлено все-
стороннее исследование того, каким образом высшие учебные заведения могут внести свой вклад в устойчивую
глобализацию путем развития “зеленой” экономики. Основываясь на обширном обзоре литературы, в этом ис-
следовательском документе исследуется текущее состояние устойчивых практик в высших учебных заведениях и
определяются основные проблемы и возможности. На основе изучения инновационных тематических исследова-
ний и передового опыта в документе раскрываются успешные стратегии и инициативы, реализованные ведущими
университетами для содействия устойчивому развитию и более экологичной экономике. Кроме того, в документе
рассматривается преобразующий потенциал интеграции устойчивости в основную учебную программу высше-
го образования, предоставляя студентам знания, навыки и ценности, необходимые для формирования устой-
чивого будущего. Анализируя влияние образования, ориентированного на устойчивое развитие, на отношение
и поведение учащихся, исследование выявляет ключевую роль университетов в воспитании нового поколения
экологически сознательных граждан мира. Кроме того, в документе оценивается роль технологий и исследований
в продвижении “зеленой” экономики в высшем образовании. Он подчеркивает важность междисциплинарного
сотрудничества и взаимодействия с отраслевыми партнерами для внедрения устойчивых инноваций и реше-
ний. В исследовании также рассматриваются проблемы, с которыми сталкиваются университеты при достижении
целей устойчивого развития, такие как нехватка ресурсов и сопротивление изменениям, и предлагаются жизне-
способные стратегии для преодоления этих препятствий. В заключение, в этом исследовательском документе
подчеркивается значение устойчивой глобализации в высшем образовании и предлагается дорожная карта для
учебных заведений по внедрению более “зеленой” экономики. Развивая культуру устойчивого развития, универси-
теты могут внести свой вклад в формирование более справедливого, устойчивого и экологически ответственного
глобального сообщества. Использование устойчивых практик не только приводит высшее образование в соот-
ветствие с более широкими глобальными целями, но и дает будущим лидерам видение и навыки для решения
сложных задач нашего времени.

I N T R O D U C T I O N
In the face of intensifying environmental challenges and the growing urgency for sustainable development,
the concept of sustainable globalization has emerged as a crucial imperative for societies worldwide. Higher
education institutions, as pillars of knowledge dissemination and societal transformation, play a pivotal role in
shaping the trajectory of global development. In this context, nurturing a green economy within higher educa-
tion has gained significant attention, aligning institutional efforts with global sustainability goals

.
As

posited, the current trajectory of global economic activities has led to various environmental crises,
including climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss. Unsustainable practices have raised con-
cerns about the long-term well-being of our planet and its inhabitants. Consequently, higher education institu-
tions are increasingly being called upon to become drivers of sustainable development and engines of positive
change

Research has shown that integrating sustainability into the core mission of higher education institutions
can have a profound impact on fostering sustainable practices and mindsets among students and faculty

embracing sustainability education, universities have the potential to cultivate a new generation of environmen-

environmental challenges
