Qisqacha mazmuni: 
“Kompetentsiya” atamasi keng ma’noda umumiy 
masalalarni hal etishda amaliy tajribalar asosida bilim va malakalarni qo‘llash, 
muvaffaqiyatli harakat qilish qobiliyatini bildiradi. Lotincha “campetere” – 
muvofiq bo‘lmoq so‘zidan kelib chiqqan. Hozirgi kunda “kompetentsiya” atamasi 
turli sohalarda qo‘llaniladi: huquqshunoslik, tilshunoslik, madaniyat sohalarida, 
shuningdek tashkilot, muassasaning muhim kompetentsiyalari. Lekin bizni 
boshqarish nuqtai nazaridan “kompetentsiya” atamasi qiziqtiradi, shuning uchun 
o‘qituvchining kasbiy kompetentsiyasi haqida fikr yuritamiz.

Abstract: 
The term “competence” in a broad sense means the ability to apply 
knowledge and skills based on practical experience and act successfully in solving 
common problems. It comes from the Latin word “campetere” - to be compatible. 
Nowadays, the term “competence” is used in various fields: jurisprudence, linguistics,

culture, as well as important competencies of an organization, an institution. But we 
are interested in the term “competence” from the point of view of management, so 
we think about the teacher’s professional competence.
