MATERIAL AND METHODS Field experiments The field experiment on effect of salinity level and irrigation on forage crop growth was
performed in KarrarExperimental Station (KES), Institute of Botany, ANAS. The station (130 ha) is
located (200 km from Baku) in Shirvan steppe of Kur-Aras watershed, and categorized as a typical
