Scheme 2 – Basic elements of e-commerce infrastructure
Any commercial organization has the purpose of its activity to make a profit. E-commerce market participants, when choosing
a partner providing payment services, focus on its reputation,
on aspects that will allow customers to make convenient, fast, and secure payments with a wide range of payment instruments. Monetization of the website (portal, application) and the possibility of attracting investments play a huge role for businessmen who decide to start a business online or find an alternative market for their products on the Internet. Under the condition of huge competition, those who ensure the quality of service win, minimize the time from a potential customer's decision about the need to purchase, to the transaction and the fact of the provision of services, delivery of goods .
As well as on a macroeconomic scale (in e–commerce in general), and in relation to an individual company doing business on the Internet - it is obvious that the role of the payment service is great. It can be qualified as a backbone link of any commercial online enterprise. NCO "Premium" (LLC) is an operator of electronic money, together with the Operator of the Payment service System "TelePay", which implements the provision of electronic means of payment to paying customers, work in the realities of the modern Russian e–commerce market, where certain trends and features of development have emerged.
Data on the number of registered (active in a particular reporting period) electronic wallets of the Payment Service System "palPay", are presented in Table 7.
We see that the number of ESPs for the period from 2016 to 2018
has almost doubled. At the same time, the number of ESPs that underwent the simplified identification procedure increased from 28% at the beginning of the analyzed period to 55.6% by the end of 2018. This happened, first of all, due to the successful implementation of an up-to-date personal data validation gateway in the GIS system GMP (SMEV).
