acts. Even her sister Charlotte wrote of ‘the horror of great darkness’ that hangs over the novel. But since then it has become
popular, concerted for the cinema and television; and Emily’s inscription, both in her fiction and her poetry, has been
defined as Shakespearian in its perspective and inspired power. Her imagery also helps to make her work truly
idiosyncratic. She was inquiring the Byronic hero and about if it was realistic to have a happy love triangle. She was
inspired and presented her characters simply as they were without judging them. She liked both the good and fierce side of
human nature.
In addition, Wuthering Heights is completely unlike any other novels which were written in Victorian era. Historically,
the most celebrated aspect of its uniqueness concerns the portrayal of character. All characters in the novel are
psychologically affected from era and environment. Besides, they are also impressed from the attitudes of other characters
around them. If we want to evaluate their suppressed feelings, we need to observe them from the point of Psychoanalytic
Approach. Psychoanalytic Approach focused on impact of the unconsciousness of mind on behavior. We can enlighten their
hidden personalities by the help of Psychoanalytic Approach. The Austrian famous psychologist Sigmund Freud credited
that mind of mankind was generated of three main parts; the id, the ego and the superego. Despite the fact that Freud’s
theory is appeared with skepticism by many critics nowadays. In any case Sigmund Freud’s theory modified how we
explain about the mortal mind and attitude. In the perspective Freud’s Psychoanalytic Approach, we can interpret the fiction
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, in terms of its era, place and characters. Sigmund Freud’s Psychological Hypothesis
will illuminate denial, suppression, sublimation and presentation in characters according to Emily’s genius literary writing
style.
