INTRODUCTION


Relevance and necessity of the dissertation topic. As stated in the Universal Declaration of Higher Education for the 21st Century, “No country can be real and stable without adequate higher education and research institutions that address the critical problem of skilled and well-educated people. cannot ensure its development”1. The National Program of Personnel Training pays special attention to the formation of a fully developed person in the education system. The main means of achieving this is considered to be a system of continuous education, which is closely linked with the mental and spiritual, moral, professional upbringing of the individual. In world linguistics, the study of the interaction and mutual enrichment of languages ​​in different systems is considered one of the most important areas of linguistics in the early XXI century. International languages ​​play an important role in this regard, especially English, which has penetrated into almost all spheres of humanity and has become a universal means of intercultural communication. It has become a donor language, giving many lexical units to other languages ​​of the world, especially Russian and Uzbek.
At present, in world linguistics, it is possible to study their linguistic features in a broader and deeper way by comparing the terminological layer of sister and non-sister languages.
The Presidential Decree No. PQ-4038 of November 28, 2018 "On approval of the Concept of further development of national culture in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev. the concept of further development of national culture was approved. The main tasks of the Concept are to preserve our historical and cultural heritage and its widespread use in the education of the younger generation, to inculcate national and universal values ​​in the minds of our youth, to preserve ethnic and cultural traditions and support folk art. Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5847 of October 8, 2019 "On approval of the Concept of development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030", No. PF-5850 of October 21, 2019 "Uzbek Decree No. PQ-5117 of May 19, 2021 "On measures to radically increase the prestige and status of the language as the state language" This dissertation work to a certain extent contributes to the implementation of the tasks set out in the Resolutions and other normative legal acts.
Level of study of the topic. Terminology has always been in the spotlight of scholars. Therefore, the terminological system of many languages, including English, has been studied to some extent. A number of studies on general and specific terminology have been conducted in English and other foreign languages, as well as in Russian linguistics.
Terminology issues in2 Uzbek linguistics are studied in the works of linguists such as N.T. Hotamov, M.E. Umarhojayev, H.Dadaboyev, I.Kh. Sadykova, S.Kh. Nurmatova, O. Tursunova, P.P.
The aim of the study is to reveal the general and differential features of professionalism in English and Uzbek by comparing them.
The objectives of the study are:
• Interpretation of the concept of professionalism in linguistics, distinguishing them from terminology;
• Classification of lexical-semantic groups of English and Uzbek professionalism;
• Distinguish the nominative features of professionalism of English and Uzbek languages, gender stereotypes in their formation;
• Creating the first version of the dictionary of professionalisms.
Professional lexical units in English and Uzbek were selected as the object of research. The subject of the research is characterized by a set of gender stereotypes and nominative features in the formation of professional vocabulary in English and Uzbek. Research methods. The dissertation uses comparative, linguistic description and statistical methods.The scientific novelty of the research is:
- The existing scientific views on the concept of "professionalism" in linguistics are proved;
- Lexical-semantic groups of English and Uzbek professional lexicon, their general and differential features are distinguished;
- The influence of gnder stereotypes on the formation of English and Uzbek professionalism is proven;
- A dictionary of English and Uzbek professionalism has been compiled. Scientific significance of the research results: The scientific significance of this research is explained by the fact that the results of research in the field of comparative linguistics reveal national and cultural features in English and Uzbek linguistics. Practical significance of the research results: The research dissertation can be used as a guide for lexicology and comparative linguistics classes for senior students of philological faculties of higher education institutions. In addition, the creation of an initial electronic version of the English and Uzbek professional dictionary of translation and its presentation to the general public, in particular, as a guide for those directly involved in professionalism, demonstrates the practical importance of this study. Based on the goals and objectives of our qualifying work, we have defined the following structure:
The content of our dissertation is described on 80 pages, "Introduction", consists of three chapters, seven paragraphs, a conclusion and a list of references. The first chapter, as a theoretical part, is widely covered in the text of the media, which provides information about the formation of professionalism in English and Uzbek.
