SUMMARY 
In the first chapter of this research were rewieved research history of creation 
and development of artificial intelligence and expert systems, at the same time 
investigating in the field of artificial intelligence as section, which is the most, 
infiltrated and applied. The second chapter is dedicated to the theoretical aspects of 
the preparation of the information for the knowledge base. In the last chapter is 
disputed a description of the knowledge base models and technologies. Summarizing 
above can be mentioned that expert systems or engineering knowledge was formed as 
an independent direction during the recent decades of artificial intelligence research.
Currently, in separate areas are being done great works to increase the 
efficiency of the process of preparation and application of expert systems. As a result, 
medical as as well as other areas of the economy are gained achievements. The task 
of the expert systems consist that to keep secury entered expert knowledge from its 
inception and to ensure accessibility of the application of that knowledge in 
understandable form . Although being in any field, using of expert systems provide 
economic benefits and rather expands the scope of the solved problem. Expert 
systems as well as other intelligent systems facilitates the solution to the problem by 
increasing the efficiency of the process. In modern time, firms and companies must 
operate in a high level of specialization for to enhance their competitiveness in the 
market.
Achievements in this area allows to say that in the future people will depend 
entirely from this intellectual facilities as the captive of these, but it still has not 
offsetting completely. In the current period, if we consider artificial intelligence-
based robot tecnologies, we can say that it is possible to be implemented at the short-
term.
