Object of research: The object of research is the intensity of word meanings in English and Uzbek languages.
The aim of the work: To comparatively reveal the linguistic and cultural features of the strengthening of word meanings in English and Uzbek languages, which are genetically unrelated.
Research methods: Synchronous, descriptive, descriptive, comparative-typological and semantic-stylistic methods of linguistics were used to clarify the research issues.
Expected scientific news:
- the problem of strengthening the meanings of words in linguistics was studied and a reaction was given to them;
- the concept of intensity is combined and differentiated with the concepts of expressiveness and emotionality;
- the manifestation of the intensity of the language at the phonetic, morphological, lexical, syntactic levels was proved on the basis of examples in English and Uzbek languages;
