Practical significance: the scientific significance of this study is explained by the fact that the results obtained from the research conducted in the field of condensed linguistics reveal national and cultural characteristics in English and Uzbek linguistics.
The dissertation can be used as a guide to the lessons of lexicology, as well as contrastive linguistics, which are conducted for senior students of philological faculties in higher educational institutions. In addition, the creation of a methodological guide on teaching stylistics and irony of the English and Uzbek languages and its presentation to the general public, in particular as a guide for professionals, will demonstrate the practical significance of this study.
Level of implementation: the results of the research can be used in the teaching of English and Uzbek language Stylistics, lexicology and phraseology, colloquial speech. The results obtained in this dissertation work can be used in the organization of clubs on stylistics and lexicology of English in secondary schools, higher educational institutions of the Republic.
