sensors record humidity data more than 800, the Arduino should notify the
farmer through GSM module, then the farmer should call back the system to
turn on the pump. If the four sensors show moisture values less than 400
then the controller will terminate the system automatically. The operation
state of the pump will be shown over the LCD display.
To conclude, this paper investigated smart control irrigation system
using environmentally friendly solar power that helps to minimize time,
money and water consumption and eliminate the adverse environmental of
the fuel needed to provide power for the operation of controller and pump.
This smart control irrigation system is beneficial in places where problems
like scarcity of water, absence of electrical grid and huge farming lands exist.
