Abstract:
This research explored teachers’ views on the advantages of
interdisciplinary teaching in elementary and secondary school curriculum. A
descriptive
scanning model, phenomenology, the Interdisciplinary Teaching
Approach Questionnaire, and a semi-structured interview form collected quantitative
and qualitative data. Professional seniority and teaching level predicted instructors’
interdisciplinary
approach views, while gender did not.
