Abstract:
This article discusses the role and place of distance learning in 
the education system. The transition from the industrial to the information society 
is shown, which led to significant changes in the field of education, as well as the 
provision of students with the right to freely choose the place, time and technology 
of education. The concept of open education is given. The study revealed the 
advantages and problems of distance learning.

Qisqacha mazmuni:
Ushbu maqolada masofaviy ta’limning ta’lim 
tizimidagi o‘rni va roli muhokama qilinadi. Industrial jamiyatdan axborot jamiyatiga 
o‘tish ta’lim sohasida jiddiy o‘zgarishlarga olib kelgan, shuningdek, o‘quvchilarga 
ta’lim o‘tkazish joyi, vaqti va texnologiyasini erkin tanlash huquqi berilganligi 
ko‘rsatilgan. Ochiq ta’lim tushunchasi berilgan. Tadqiqot davomida masofaviy 
ta’limning afzalliklari va muammolari ochib berildi.

Abstract: 
This research explored teachers’ views on the advantages of 
interdisciplinary teaching in elementary and secondary school curriculum. A 
descriptive scanning model, phenomenology, the Interdisciplinary Teaching 
Approach Questionnaire, and a semi-structured interview form collected quantitative 
and qualitative data. Professional seniority and teaching level predicted instructors’ 
interdisciplinary approach views, while gender did not.
