SOME ISSUES OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL 
EDUCATION AND SPORTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAКSTAN

Summary:
 The article mentions the scientific study of physical education and sports in the 
Republic of Karakalpakstan. The topics and content of the scientific-research works carried out by 
local scientists in this field are analyzed and summarized, and the important trends of today are 
discussed.

In recent years, the scope of scientific research related to the system and process of training 
qualified athletes has been significantly increasing in our country. As a result of them, the growth of 
technical and tactical skills in sports is clearly visible. The scientific-theoretical views of the 
leading scientists working in our republic on the issues of physical education and sports 
development, elimination of problems in training and competitions, and further improvement of 
sports activities are scientifically based organization of young people to engage in sports 
activities, ensuring their correct orientation in life and physical fitness, sports and is important in 
preserving and safeguarding our nationalism and national mentality related to the fields. It is of 
great importance to bring and analyze the contributions of scientists from Karakalpakstan to the 
growth of scientific research in this field. The scientific study of physical education and sports in 
Karakalpakstan is associated with the name of docent O. Korseev. He is considered to be one of the 
first local scientists to defend his candidate's thesis. In 1978, he defended his scientific work on the 
topic "Study of the effectiveness of the formation of initial motor manifestations in gymnasts using 
self-education methods" and obtained the scientific degree of candidate of pedagogic sciences [1-
73]. 
Later, P.Shylmanov [1-55] worked tirelessly to collect and redevelop the national action 
games of the Karakalpak people. The scientist created scientific-methodical works on the history of 
the emergence and formation of national and action games, their content, educational significance, 
orientation to action games, taking into account the age characteristics of children and adolescents. 
In 1982, he defended his candidate's thesis in Moscow on the topic of "Karakalpak National Action 
Games at School". 
Pedagogical scientist and wrestler P. Serimbetov [1-86] in his candidate's dissertation on the 
topic of "Methods of using elements of wrestling in physical education classes in children aged 13-
14 years" taught wrestling as a national sport in physical education classes at school, and used some 
of its elements in lessons. studied the aspects. 
B. Mambetov [4] has his own place as a scientist who created scientific-theoretical and 
scientific-practical resources on the history of physical education and sports development. In this 
direction, it consisted of scientific and historical justification of the traditions of physical education 
and sports in Karakalpakstan, trends in the formation and development of the traditions of physical 
education and sports of the Karakalpak people, the problems of recovery of physical education and 
sports at the modern stage, and the prospects of development in the years of independence. He also 
substantiated with sufficient scientific evidence the connection, role and importance of folk sports 
in ensuring a healthy lifestyle of the people in the region along the Aral Sea.Today, the scientist is 
conducting research aimed at revealing the social significance and pedagogical aspects of the 
development of the Olympic movement in our country.
