From a clinical perspective, pain and swelling were the main presenting
symptoms of these tumors. They are rarely revealed by a pathological fracture.
Each type of bone sarcoma interest a particular part of the skeleton (knee,
femur, pelvis ...) and even a specific part of the bone (diaphysis, metaphysis,
epiphysis)
Imaging has raised the diagnosis of osteogenic sarcoma in all cases, but
confirmation was made by histology.
Imaging progress, development of multidisciplinary treatment, the use of
chemotherapy and conservative surgery has significantly improved the survival of
patients affected by these tumors.
