THEME 14: Writing: A LETTER OF COMPLAINT
A letter of complaint asosan
yakka bir shaxsga yoki
tashkilotga sizga ko’rsatilgan
yomon xizmatdan yoki sizga sotilgan
sifatsiz mahsulotdan shikoyat qilish uchun yoziladi. Shikoyat xatingizda o’zingizning dalillaringizni iloji borisha asoslab, mazmunli yozishingiz kerak bo’ladi.
A letter of complaint quyidagicha strukturada tuziladi:
- IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH (INTRODUCTION):
Explain the reason for writing.

- IN THE SECOND PARAGRAPH (BODY):
Explain exactly what the problem is. Give all the necessary details about where and when it happened and who was involved. Give other relevant information in further paragraphs if necessary. You may include the following information if it's applicable to the situation: the date/time of the issue, location, name of person on duty, name of product, what the problem was, your account number, model number, price, warranty information and reference number. Be sure to stick with the facts and avoid putting emotions into your letter.

- IN THE FINAL PARAGRAPH (CONCLUSION):
Explain what action you want to be taken.

A. Agar sizga yomon xizmat ko’rsatilgan bo’lsa, siz uzr so’rashlarini yoki shu bilan birga kupon berishlarini talab qilishingiz mumkin.
B.
Agar siz sotib olgan mahsulot yomon ishlasa, ushbu mahsulotni
yangisiga almashtirib berishlarini yoki
pulingizni qaytarib berishlarini talab qilishingiz mumkin.
C. Agar kerak bo’lsa, talabingiz qondirilmasa qanaqa choralar ko’rilishini ham aytishingiz mumkin.
NOTE: shikoyatning
jiddiylik darajasiga qarab, xat
yumshoq tilda (mild language) yoki
qattiqqo’l tilda (strong language) yozilishi mumkin, lekin also so’kinish va haqoratlovchi iboralar ishlatilmaydi.
Va ya’na e’tibor berish kerak bo’lgan tomoni shundaki,
shikoyat xati yumshoq til (mild language) bilan boshlangan bo’lsa,
yumshoq til (mild language) bilan yakunlanishi, yoki bo’lmasa, shikoyat xati
qattiqqo’l til (strong language) bilan boshlangan bo’lsa,
qattiqqo’l til (strong language) bilan yakunlanishi shart, aks holda mazmun buziladi.
MILD COMPLAINT:
I am writing to complain about a factual error in yesterday’s newspaper.
I hope that you will give this matter your prompt attention.
