В  статье  исследуется  проблема  синтеза  реальности  и  художественного 
воображения  в  азербайджанском  историческом  романе.  Отмечается,  что  в  статьях 
историков З.Буниядова, А.Рагимова, Э.Алибекзаде и др. дана оценка художественному 
воображению авторов исторических романов.

The synthesis of reality and artistic  
imagination in the historical novel  
 
Summary 
 
In the article is  investigated the problem of synthesis of historical  reality  and artistic 
imagination in the historical novels.  It’s noted that there are disputes between historian and 
writer  on  the  problem  of  the  description  of  history  from  time  to  time.  Writer’s  artistic 
imagination in the historical novel has been valued in the articles of historical scientists such 
as,  Z.Bunyadov,  A.Rahimov,  E.  Alibeyzade  and  etc.  The  problem  of  historical  reality  and 
artistic  imagination  has  been  glanced  in  the  articles  of  writers,  I.  Huseynov,  N.  Hasanzade, 
A.Nijat and others.
