Conclusion of the chapter

Within the clashing minds of the heroes of Byron's sentimental sonnets, the concepts of great and fiendish were blended up, but the poet's heroes are dear to him rather like that, they are near to him in soul. Dispassionately, Byron the craftsman appeared the catastrophe of independence, when the legend, having crushed his ties with people, loses intrigued in his possess life, and his disobedience within the title of individual opportunity loses its meaning. There were self-evident similitudes between Byron and the Byronic legend: tall birth, an impassioned and thoughtful heart in youth, disillusionment, outrage, lose hope. But the Byronic saint experienced dramatizations that Byron as it were envisioned of. The heroes of Byron's sonnets act as judges and justice fighters for tainted human respect; they endeavor to break the shackles coercively forced on man by the modern social framework. In their stormy monologs, one can feel the reflection of outrage, which latently developed in those a long time within the mass of the individuals and which the artist was able to sensitively capture and express within the pictures of his works of art. In the "oriental lyrics" Byron created encourage the sort of the sentimental lyric. The composition and ideological concept of these sonnets don't fit into the classic standards. The fragmentary nature of the "Eastern sonnets", the quick flow within the improvement of the activity, the expressive portrayals of uncommonly shinning and strong sentiments, differentiated with the bluntness and bluntness of the philistine world - all this required modern class and complex forms.
