Results obtained 
The results of the analysis of measures to increase the participation of the tourism industry 
in increasing the volume of exports in Uzbekistan in accordance with the changes and developments 
taking place in the world tourism industry and on the basis of existing opportunities and potential 
presented the following opportunities: 
- "In 2020, the international tourist flow amounted to 1 billion more than last year. per capita 
or decreased by 73%, resulting in 1.3 trillion. Revenue from the export of tourism services 
equivalent to US dollars, as well as 120 million.gacha led to job losses. Losses from tourism exports 
were 11 times higher than the global economic crisis of 2009. All this makes it possible to call 2020 
the worst year for international tourism in the entire history of surveillance," UNWTO said in a 
statement; 
- UNWTO claims that travel restrictions, especially in the heavily-burdened Asia-Pacific 
region, have caused the greatest damage to tourism. The number of arrivals here is 300 in 2020 
mln.ga or decreased by 84%; 
- In the Middle East and Africa, the decline decreased by 74%, in Europe-by 70%. At the 
same time, the largest decrease in the number of trips compared to 2019 was recorded on the 
European continent – 500 million. man. The decrease in the arrival of foreign tourists in America 
was 69%

- the distribution of costs for the tourism sector, which is at the peak of high development in 
the world in 2019, amounted to 28.7% international and 1.3% domestic tourism costs, 21.4% 
business goals, 78.6% tourism costs for recreational purposes;

- The volume of exports in Uzbekistan in 2020 amounted to 15.1 billion. US $ 2.4 billion 
compared to the previous year. Reduced to US dollars. And in the six-month period of 2021, the 
volume of exports was 7.1 billion. Equivalent to us $ 0.8 billion compared to the same period last 
year. Increased to US dollars. However, during this period, tourism services exports amounted to 
44.7 million. Reduced to us $ 158.5 million. The US dollar was; 
– According to the organization for Economic Cooperation and development (IHRT-OECD, 
Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), in the summer of 2021, domestic 
tourism can recover to the level until 2019, but, not international tourism . The reason is, the 
restoration and development of external tourism depends on the factors; 
-Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in Uzbekistan, important measures have 
been implemented to restore and develop the tourism sector, as well as all sectors. The practical 
results of this are the improvement of the legal framework for the industry, the provision of many 
benefits and preferences for the support and development of the activities of business entities, the 
implementation of targeted programs for creating favorable infrastructure and attracting 
investments, in particular, the adoption of the "concept of development of the tourism sector in the 
Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019-2025, the fact that strict control over the effective implementation 
is ensured in the near future serves for the development of the tourism industry with more new 
aspects, as well as a significant increase in the export of tourism services.
