Sarmishsay rock paintings are located 40-45 km north-east of Navoi city. In 1966-1967, A.
Kabirov discovered about 2000 rock paintings from this place. According to A. Kabirov, these
pictures belonging to the 4th-1st millennium BC were carved with bronze and stone[24.252B.].
Burgansoi paintings were discovered by archaeologist M. Khojanazarov in 1980 from the southern
slope of the Nurota mountain range. The pictures belong to the 2nd millennium BC and depict
animals such as humans, bulls, camels, horses, pigs, leopards, wolves[25.].
In order to develop speleo tourism throughout the country, special tour packages have been
developed. Various routes "Across caves and rivers" have been established. This tour also focuses
on providing horses along the routes. These packages are designed for a period of up to 18
days[2.25B.].
In Uzbekistan, there are 37 caves with a length of more than 500 meters and a depth of more than
100 meters. The "Zandanak" cave in Boysuntog is 565 meters deep and 2500 meters long, and is
considered a convenient place for the development of speleotourism[7.30B.].
Khojakent cave was painted by primitive people and 50,000 tourists visit this cave every
year. Aktash and Obirahmat caves are also frequented by tourists. Tourists are also attracted by the
fact that it is a historical place. A teahouse "Chinor" was established here in order to create
conditions for tourists. "Gormozor" cave has even been turned into a holy place by local residents.
Kalmakchop cave served as a religious temple of ancient people. In general, caves in the territory of
Tashkent region are used for the purpose of speleotourism. There are tourist zones in such places as
Khojakent, Obirahmat, Aktash, Dinap, Karabulok, Sajjak, Avgonsoi, Mozorsoi, Akbulok, Polvonak
in the Tashkent region. As a favorable region for speleotourism, it is recommended to go to
Kalmoqcho'pungur, Taniberdisoy, Shalakansoy, Khazartekesoy, Yolbarskhana, Taldiqsoy,
Sherkhana, Kaylaqsoy, Bodoqsoy, Khudaidod, Sargardon, Kyziltash caves in Chotkal.
There are 187 karst caves in the Central Kyzylkum region[2.27B.]. There are 56 caves on
the Ustyurt plateau, 52 of which are located in horizontal directions[2.28B.]. The total number of
two-story caves in Uzbekistan is 11[2.51B.]. There are two lakes in Chilustun cave, two lakes in
Abdujabbarov cave, and three lakes in Amagoton cave[2.61B.].
A special tourist route has been developed to go to the Amir Temur cave, which goes
through Langan - Ko'kabulok - Qon - Aqqishloq - Do'konkhona. The cave crossed the pass from
Dokonkhana to Tashkurgan to the northeast and passed through the Kalasoy valley[1.5B.]. The
mouth of the cave consists of a very large porch, 20 meters wide and 14 meters high, facing
southwest. After the porch was finished, the cave was divided into two branches. Its north-western
