The development of the hotel services market, the commercialization of hotel activities
necessitates the use of marketing tools for implementation in the activities of hotel service
providers. The logic of the development of market relations in the hotel business has led to the
formulation and solution of such problems as the study and segmentation of the hotel services
market, the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the effective demand for hotel services, the
positioning of producers of hotel services, the use of marketing tools to develop promising
directions for the development of consumer-oriented hotel services.
In conclusion of this issue, it should be noted that the hotel service is an organized
interaction between the consumer and the producer of hotel services, continuously affecting it
throughout its duration. This service exists only during the stay of the consumer, and during this
time there is a constant dialogue between the consumer and the producer of hotel services, it is
impossible to program it or create a certain standard or service algorithm. Consequently, the hotel
service in each case acquires a personalized character.
