Ebook An ebook is an electronic book that can be read on a screen or on a mobile
device. These have become extremely popular in times where people have
been putting down old fashioned books and picking up new tablets and mobile
phones.
Also, ebooks are much easier to transport than carrying a book everywhere!
On an e-reader device (a device used to read ebooks) you can store hundreds
of books all at once!
The concept of ebooks has also led to normal people publishing their own
work on the internet. Authors have realised that they don‘t need big
companies to print their books for them when they can publish them online
for free.
