Abstract:
In this project study, the importance of cruise tourism is mentioned as a type of tourism
in the developing world by being explained the definition,historical development and characteristics of
cruise tourism. Statistical information related to cruise tourism in the world were used. Cruise tourism
is a marine-based tourism according to the activities in the field variety. Service is provided in two
ways: both in luxury-equipped ships and in a range of cities and ports experienced by ship.
Passengers in the ship, a five-star hospitality business-quality accommodation, dining, recreation and
entertainment services, such as can get. They can attend sightseeing tours, shopping, festivals and
celebrations at the ports, cities and countries touched by ship.
There are many regions and route navigations applied to cruise ship trips in various density in
the world. These can be examined on the geography of the world by divided into regions. The most
intense region of demand for cruise tourism is the Caribbean Region in North America in the world.
This region is followed by European regions.
