(Identifiying and limitating the topic)


Action research plan: Teaching strategies to promote critical thinking skill
Topic: To provide a brief introduction to the definition and disposition to think critically along with active learning strategies to promote critical thinking. This study wants to know if weblog can be used to promote students’ critical thinking.
This paper explores the efficacy of 2 methods of teaching critical thinking about scientific research: the traditional research paper vs. critiquing published research.

Research question:

  1. How important would you consider the critical thinking of young generation in today’s modern century?

  2. Have you got some available scales on assessing critical thinking ability?

  3. Do you think that critical thinking affect second language learning?

  4. How does it affect when one has a basic level of language?



Participant:

Khudoykulova Dilnoza teacher of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

Pupils of school number 286, located in Tashkent

Those learners are in pre intermediate one.

Intervention: While my study of research paper l participated 2 lessons at school.


Data collection: In order to achieve good knowledge, I participated two lessons of school. I observed English lessons and found difference between student’s critical thinking.
