S: Sən necə oxuyursan indi?
B: Mən əlaçıyam.
S: Əlaçı... deməli... bütün qitmətlər ən yüksək...
B: Bəli.
S: Bütün fənlərdən ən yüksək qiymət alırsan.
B: Ən yüksək qiymətlər.
S: Həmdə bu hökümətdən buna görə sənə...
B: Stipendiya alıram.
S: Stipendiya alırsan.
B: Bəli.
S: O stipendiyaya... aylıq məsəl üçün... sən o stipendiyaya nə edə bilərsən?
B: Aylıq stipendiya əlaçı... yəni mən əlaçıyam, mən aylıq 50 manat stipendiya alıram. 50 manata, tam da olmasa, bir aylıq özün yiməyi, içməyi... yemək birdə yol hərclərini ödəmək olar.
S: Bəs kitabların alınması?
B: Yox, kitablar yox. Kitabları biz kitabxanadan götürürük, əgər bizdədə olmasa, Axundov mərkəzi kitabxana var, orda bütün kitablar var.
S: Amma satışda belə dərsliklər satılmır?
B: Dərsliklər...ham (hamısı)... ekoloju təzə kitablar çıxıb, o da elə də çox deyil, əsas rus... rus dilində olan kitablardı, Azərbaycan dilində kitablar azdır.
S: Onlar rus dilindər tərcümə...
B: Onlar rus dilindən tərcümədir, amma çoxda müvəffəqiyyətli tərcümə deyil.
S: Bəs, məsəl üçün, o birisi xarici dillərdən tərcümə olunmuş dərsliklər var?
B: Başqa rus... o azerbaycan dilinə yox, ancaq... tutaq ki, ingilis dilindən rus dilinə tərcümə var. Belə tərcümə. Yəni çox azərbaycan dilinə yoxdur.

S: Sən ingilis dilini öyrənirsən?

B: Bəli, öyrənirəm.
S: Sən ingilis dilində kitab oxuya bilərsən lazım olsa?
B: Lazım olsa... tam ekoloji... ekologiya sahəsi üzrə tamda yox, çünki bəzi terminlər var ki, onlardan hə, o gədər də məlumatım yoxdur, hələ ekologiyanın özünün azınıda tam öyrənməmişəm ona görə.
S: Sən indi...məsəl üçün... indi yaydı, siz... dərs yoxdur, sən nəynən məşğulsan?
B: Mən... rayona gedirik və yaxutda ki işləyirik hardasa, yəni ki... ya ixtisasa uyğun, ya da ki, ixtisasa uyğun olmayan yerlərdə.

English translation:
S: How are your studies now?
B: I’m an honors student.
S: Honors… meaning?… the highest marks…
B: Yes.
S: You get highest marks in all subjects.

B: Yes.
S: That stipend… for example, monthly… what can you do on that stipend?
B: Monthly stipend honors student… meaning, I’m an honors student, I receive 50 manat as a stipend. On 50 manat, if not completely, but you can pay for food, drink… food and transportation.
S: How about buying books?
B: No, not books. We take the books from the library, and even if we don’t have them, there is an Akhundov central library. All the books are there.
S: So the textbooks are not sold on the market?
B: Textbooks…. all… there are new ecology books, but it’s not all that many, for the most part, Russian… these are books in Russian, there are few books in Azerbaijani.
S: They were translated from Russian…
B: They are translations from Russian, but it’s a very successful translation.
S: How about for example, are there textbooks translated from other languages?
B: Other Russian… it’s not to Azeri, however… let’s say, from English to Russian, there are translations. That kind of translation. Meaning there isn’t many into Azerbaijani language.
S: Do you study English language?
B: Yes, I do.
S: Could you read a book in English if you had to?
B: If I had to… all ecology… not completely in the field of ecology, because there is some terminology that, yes, I don’t have all that much information about it, I haven’t even completely learned ecology in itself yet, that’s why.
S: You are now… for example… its summer now, you… there are no classes, what are you up to?
B: I am… we are going to the country or we work somewhere, meaning… in places that are related to your field, or not related in your field.
S: This is for young people… you work?
B: Yes. It’s not a problem.
S: For example in what kind of job do you work?
B: For example, there are people who work as waiters, as managers.
S: At a restaurant?
B: Yes.
S: Then… for example, your friends… where do you go? What are your interests?
B: Where do we go? Presently, we, the places in Azerbaijan that are forests or have mountains… in Ismailli, a big area has been cut down there. We took the pictures and brought some part of it with us, some other part the guys will bring during the vacation. They are… completely ready, we want to send them to the Ministry of Ecology.
