International Journal of Formal Education To the question “Could it be important for you to establish interdisciplinary connections in the
classroom?” answered: yes - 70% of respondents; find it difficult to answer - from 25%; no - from
5%.
Analysis of the results of the student survey allowed us to draw the following conclusions. According
to students’ opinion, their gnostic knowledge and skills are not well formed, requiring the application
of knowledge of related disciplines (70%), constructive skills (62%).
At the same time, students experience the greatest difficulties in developing an integrative lesson
(53%), an extracurricular event of an interdisciplinary nature (59%), complex tasks and assignments
that require the integration of knowledge (58%). More than 60% of respondents note that, despite the
formation of their organizational skills, they experience significant difficulties in organizing
productive creative activities to transfer skills and knowledge from related disciplines (54%), if
necessary, reorganize their activities in case of unforeseen situations (61% ).
Based on the analysis of the data obtained during the survey, the following conclusion can be drawn:
the main part of general professional knowledge obtained by students is based on the study of general
educational disciplines, since they contain general professional and professional competencies.
Based on the results of the conducted educational processes with interdisciplinary relation and
questionnaires, the following was established:
has been increased students' interest in identifying interdisciplinary relationships;
has been increased the interest in physics and agrometeorology noticeably;
has been revealed conscious assimilation of the studied materials;
has been increased interest in independent work;
has been revealed increasing the skill of applying knowledge from different scientific fields to
solve practical problems.
Thus, in the process of educational activity, the use of interdisciplinary connections ensures the
effectiveness of the process, motivating students to learn, forms an interest in knowing the world
around them from the point of view of different scientific directions, thereby systematizing the
knowledge gained. The use of interactive teaching methods of an interdisciplinary nature allows
developing non-standard thinking, the ability to generalize, integrate and transfer knowledge from
different sciences in the right direction.
