• The list of comparable measuring instruments used in the field of state supervision and control is approved by the Uzstandard Agency.
• State verification of measuring instruments is carried out by the state metrological service, but the right to compare measuring instruments can also be transferred to accredited metrological services of legal entities.
• The results of comparisons of measuring instruments performed in other countries are recognized on the basis of international treaties and agreements.

• • measuring instruments - technical devices intended for measurements and having normal metrological properties;
• • testing equipment - a technical device, product and (or) material with normal technical characteristics, intended for testing.

2. Types of comparisons

• Measuring instruments are subject to primary, periodic, extraordinary, inspection and expert comparison.
• The primary comparison of measuring instruments is a comparison made during the production or repair of a measuring instrument, as well as during the import and sale of a measuring instrument in bulk.
• Extraordinary comparisons are made for measuring instruments in operation and stored in the following cases:
• - when using a measuring instrument as an integral part after half the interval;
• - in case of loss of a seal, seal, damage or documents confirming the passage of primary or periodic verification of measuring instruments;
