Theme: Technology improvement of organization and control of wagon flows at technical stations Annotation: Good morning, dear commission members, I am going to introduce myself by your permession, and then I will briefly familiarize my scientific work and its content. I am a master’s degree student of Tashkent state transport university faculty of “Management of transport systems”, According to the results of admission for the master's stage of the 2022-2023 academic year, I was admitted to the master’s degree on the basis of a full scholarship, as well during the semesters, I am studying my mastering degree all subjects for excellent grades. My scientific supervisor is professor of the department of “management of railway operation”, Butunov Dilmurod Bakhodirovich. Based on the topic of my master’s thesis, The State President of the Republic of Uzbekistan scholarship between the master’s degrees students, I participate in the competition stage with my scientific work on the topic “technology improvement of organization and control of wagon flows at technical stations”.
During this presentation, I will also be the first to familiarize myself with the relevance of my scientific work and the practical results achieved in this work to date. Currently, more than 270 stations of different functions operate under the management of Uzbekistan Railways JSC, and each has a high degree of importance based on their work activity, the topic chosen for my master's thesis was considered to more effectively organize the work of technical stations and increase the main performance of railway transport on the basis of improving existing technologies.
Technical stations determine the quality indicators of transportation work in the process of rail transport freight transport. The technical station covers the sorting and plot(section) stations and differs from each other in the nature of the work activities. Sorting and plot(section) stations perform such actions as sorting wagons, maintenance of the movement structure and the formation of a new train along the route, determining the most effective option for the distribution of their shipment by address, correctly organizing wagon flows in the process of freight transport. If we look at the available statistics in the transportation process, we can see that a particular shipment is in the process from the shipped station to the receiving destination station: 11% of the time traveled on the road, 5% of the time staying at intermediate stations, 50% of the time staying at load and unloading stations, 34% of the time staying at technical stations. That is, 84% of the total length of stay of the wagons here falls on technical stations.
It is known that within technical stations, sorting stations occupy a leading position in terms of the volume of work. Sorting stations are the main backbone for the effective organization of the flow of wagons on the railway network. Despite the low number of sorting stations on the railway network, they determine the implementation of the transportation plan. Chuqursoy sorting station is leading in terms of the volume of work in Uzbekistan Railways JSC.
