5. Gulistan State University


Gulistan State University is located in central part of Uzbekistan, in Gulistan city, Syrdarya region, and it has 8 faculties: Foreign languages, Physics - Mathematics, Philology, Methodic of Initial Training, Study of Nature, Economy, History.
There are more than 2000 students and 30 postgraduates studying in these faculties. The Teachers' Staff of University is comprised of 211 professor-teachers, out of them 95 have different scientific degrees.

6. Tashkent State Institute of Culture Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after A. Qodiri was founded in 1974, and has performed a great activities in cultural life of our country and training of specialists in the fields of culture during this period. At present there are 951 students undergo the education, instructed by 162 professor-teachers. Among them 15 are professors and doctors, 52 have degrees in science. Institute have 5 faculties, and namely: Library, People's folklore, Faculty of social-cultural activity, part-time Faculty of Culture and a faculty of training and improving the qualifications of culture servants. 7. Tashkent State Institute of Arts Tashkent State Art Institute, named after M. Uyg'ur, is founded in 1945 and located in Tashkent, it has 3 faculties, with 442 students and 15 postgraduates studying there. The staff of Institute is comprised of about 170 art servants, and among them there are 24 with the governmental degrees of honor, 10 professors, 9 Doctors of Arts, 20 Science Candidates, and 10 Associate Professors. The main directions of the education at the Institute are in the Fields of Theatre, Television and Cinema. It is involved with the training of actors, directors, photographers, art designers, dramatists, art-journalists, etc. The following faculties are existing at the Institute: Theater, Cinema, Television and Radio Arts, Art Science and Puppet Theatre.
