Q200. If you had the opportunity to learn a musical instrument,
what would you learn?
A. Sample Answer
Given the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, I would learn the piano. To begin with, my
mother plays the piano. She would be able to give me lessons for free! It would be a great mother-
daughter bonding activity and she would be very happy if I showed interest in one of her passions.
We could even learn how to play duets! Furthermore, all of my favorite bands incorporate the piano
into their music. If I learned piano, I could learn how to play all of my favorite songs! I think it would
be quite soothing to sit down and play a song or two from my favorite band. So, because I could
spend more time with my mom and learn how to play songs from my favorite bands, I would like to
learn how to play the piano.
